Politics Grammys Style

Yes, I stayed up late last night to watch the Latin Grammy Awards. It was awesome. I love latin music, especially him, her, him and definitely them. But you really had to stay till the end to get a true flavor of some political feelings in the air. George Lopez hosted and it was funny and fun and lighthearted...and near the very end of the show he had a few words for Arnold Schwarzenegger, of the variety that got beeped out (even though he tried to slip them by in Spanish) - and declared that Latinos would never vote for him in the recall election. It seemed to put to rest all this empty rhetoric coming from the right about Cruz Bustamante being racist and the Latinos going for republicans... I think by the way the audience reacted (in wild enthusiastic support of Lopez' statement), there was no doubt that the GOP is reaching white racists, not latin voters, with their crude tactics in California.
