Heroine of the Day...Month...Year
Despite festivities of St. Patrick's Day today, I want to take a moment to say Rest In Peace to Rachel Corrie. May her family have comfort and peace in the knowledge that she not only put herself in the way of injustice, but she did so with determination and with the belief that she could make a difference for the oppressed people she wanted to protect. A wonderful, thought-provoking post read this morning from Ampersand gave me pause and I appreciate it.
